Day 1.
Arrival transfer from airport to hotel. Afternoon, city tour with
Moon Valley included. La Paz called the “CITY OF CONTRASTS”;
represents a unique blend of cultures and races. Indian markets,
the Witch doctor market, the open air museum of Tiwanaku, colonial
and modern areas as well as the Moon Valley are the local main
attractions. Overnight Hotel Presidente (5 stars).
Day 2.
Buffet Breakfast. In the morning, tour to Tiwanacu Ruins. Tiwanaku,
was the capital of a highly advanced nation dates back, according
to the latest carbon 14 test, dates back to 1580 BC. This Aymara
civilization developed through five interesting periods covering
at the peak of its splendor time (around 700 AC) an area of 232,558
sq. miles (600,000 km2) while being the largest city
in the world with more than 100,000 inhabitants. Visit the ruins
of Akapana pyramid, the Kalasasaya and the Underground Temple
of Kontiki, aqueducts and the famous Gate of the Sun, which is
carved with symmetrical figures. Tiwanacu is considered to be
the “Cradle
of the American Civilizations” and in 2000, UNESCO declared
it “Cultural Heritage of Mankind”. Continue by bus
to Huatajata, where you will discover the “Andean Roots
Eco-Village”. Meet the Limachi Brothers, builders of Ra
II and Tigris for Thor Heyerdhal expeditions and other well known
scientist vessels. Visit the artisans and fisherman villages
, admire the Urus-Chipayas culture with its Mud igloos & floating
islands, pre-Inca agricultural terraces called Takanas, Sukakollus
and a sample of the Salt Lake. Audiovisual and night visit to
the Mystic World of the Kallawayas®. Optional late night
visit to the native Alajpacha stars Native Observatory®.
Candlelight dinner & Folklore Show. Overnight Inca Utama

Day 3.
American Breakfast. Hydrofoil cruise to Copacabana, where you will
visit the Shrine and the local market. Continue to Sun Island,
soft Llama Trek from
“Pilcocaina Sun Temple” ruins until La Posada del Inca Lodge. Lunch
and free time to explore the surroundings. Dinner. Overnight Posada del Inca
Eco Friendly Lodge.
Day 4.
Continental breakfast. Descend to the Yumani Hydrofoil harbor,
through the Inca Steps and Sacred Fountain. Lunch will be served
at the panoramic “Uma Kollu restaurant. Continue by Hydrofoil
to Huatajata, visiting the “Iñak Uyu” Sun Virgins
Temple on Moon Island. Bus Huatajata/La Paz. Overnight Hotel Presidente
(5 stars).
Day 5.
Buffet Breakfast. Departure transfer for flight to Sucre. Arrival
transfer from airport to hotel. Afternoon, city tour of Sucre.
The constitutional capital of Bolivia, is a living expression of
both colonial and modern times. The Cathedral, churches and cloisters
of La Recoleta, San Felipe and Guadalupe, the House of Liberty,
where Simon Bolivar signed the Declaration of Independence, the
Freedom Bell at San Francisco cloister, the second oldest university
in South America, San Francisco Xavier, as well as the university
Museum offer fine examples of anthropological research, colonial
and modern art. Sucre and Potosi are the most representative examples
of the colonial time and art in the Andes and a visit to these
cities takes you back to the 17th century. Sucre was also declared
by UNESCO as “The Historical and Cultural Legacy of Mankind”.

Day 6.
Continental Breakfast. Full day tour to Potosi (Lunch is included).
Land transportation to Potosi, for a full day excursion to the
famous Colonial City, and source of silver during colonial times.
The rich mountain towers over the city, and according to legend,
it has produced enough silver to build a solid silver bridge from
Potosi to Madrid. The Cathedral, the church of San Francisco and
The Casa de la Moneda (Royal Mint), with its wooden machinery used
to make the silver coins for Spain during the colony and a visit
to a mine are the main local attractions. Potosi was also declared
by UNESCO as “The Historical and Cultural Legacy of Mankind”.
The visit to a mine is also included. Return to Sucre. Overnight
Hostal De Su Merced (3 stars).
Day 7.
Continental breakfast. Departure transfer for the return flight
to La Paz. Arrival transfer. Free time for last minute shopping.
Overnight Hotel Presidente. (5 stars).
Day 8.
Buffet Breakfast. Departure transfer for your return flight.
